Softball Game Preview: De Pere Redbirds vs. Sheboygan South Redwings

De Pere is a perfect 10-0 against Sheboygan South since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Redbirds will host the Redwings at 4:00 p.m. De Pere is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

De Pere's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Manitowoc Lincoln. The Redbirds haven't had any issues with the Ships recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Manitowoc Lincoln's batters probably weren't too happy with Reese Falish, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 12 Ks (she gave up a single walk). With that strong performance, Falish is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Addison Krutz, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Cadence Brennan, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Sheboygan South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 33rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Plymouth, falling 24-0.

De Pere's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Sheboygan South, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
