Soccer Recap: SouthWest Edgecombe Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, SouthWest Edgecombe was not quite North Johnston's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to SouthWest Edgecombe of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.

Their goal came courtesy of YOSCAR RAMIREZ-LUNA, who's now up to four this season.

SouthWest Edgecombe dropped their record down to 4-8-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Johnston, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-13-2.
