Asheville and A.C. Reynolds are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Cougars will venture away from home to face off against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Asheville will be looking to extend their current 16-game winning streak.

Asheville will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Enka, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Jets on Thursday.

Asheville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-16.

A.C. Reynolds not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0). They blew past North Buncombe 3-0. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Black Hawks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant A.C. Reynolds was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-11.

Asheville's record is now 18-4. As for A.C. Reynolds, their record now sits at 11-17.

Asheville beat A.C. Reynolds 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
