Softball Recap: Gustine Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Gustine's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Hilmar Yellowjackets on Friday. The Reds just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Gustine saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacqueline Chavez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Gustine's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hilmar, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Gustine will be playing in front of their home fans against Waterford at 4:00 p.m. on March 14th. As for Hilmar, they will head out to take on Stone Ridge Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
