Volleyball Recap: Pecatonica Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pecatonica had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Warren Warriors by a score of 2-0.

Brianna Carden paced Pecatonica's offense, picking up three kills. Carden were helped by Sophie Fitzanko and Lexi Diedrich, who contributed three assists each. Fitzanko was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The win got Pecatonica back to even at 14-14. As for Warren, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-23.

Pecatonica didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against North Boone on the 18th. Warren has also already played their next contest (against Amboy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
