Basketball Recap: Watts Takes a Loss

Watts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt an 82-32 loss at the hands of the Braggs Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Engineers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 418th, while the Wildcats are ranked 31st).

Watts' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Braggs, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Watts won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Braggs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Braggs, they and Keota will face off at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Braggs is on a 11-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Keota a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
