Softball Recap: Swett Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Swett finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the El Cerrito Gauchos, falling 15-2. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Camryn Christian was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 1-for-2. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Swett's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. As for El Cerrito, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Looking ahead, Swett will welcome Emery at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for El Cerrito, they will face off against Oakland Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
