Soccer Recap: Anacortes Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Anacortes has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 3-0 to the Ferndale Golden Eagles on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that Anacortes have lost by exactly three goals.

Anacortes' loss dropped their record down to 7-3-2. As for Ferndale, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Anacortes is set to challenge their familiar foe Lynden at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ferndale will take on rival Sehome at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
