Basketball Game Preview: Rampart Rams vs. Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks

The Rampart Rams will challenge the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rampart knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Cheyenne Mountain likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Rampart came up short against Discovery Canyon and fell 66-55. The Rams have struggled against the Thunder recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Cheyenne Mountain waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They secured a 50-46 W over the Demons. The 50-point effort marked the Red-Tailed Hawks' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Rampart's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Cheyenne Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Everything went Rampart's way against Cheyenne Mountain when the teams last played back in February of 2022, as Rampart made off with an 84-59 victory. Does Rampart have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cheyenne Mountain turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
