Mason Welcheck Game Report: @ Northwestern

Passers beware: Mason Welcheck came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made four total tackles and defended one pass, helping propel Conneaut Area past Northwestern by a score of 28-14. We hope Welcheck's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Welcheck and Conneaut Area will face off against Maplewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will enter the matchup having just beaten Lakeview, so the Eagles will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
