Volleyball Recap: New Holstein Huskies vs. Kewaunee Storm
New Holstein had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kewaunee Storm on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.
New Holstein's offense was headlined by Makya Pendleton and Makenna Bink, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Addison Haensgen and her ten assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
The victory was the third in a row for Kewaunee, bringing their record up to 3-0.
New Holstein didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Brillion on the 29th. As for Kewaunee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Hilbert on the 29th.
