Softball Recap: Amboy Takes a Loss

Morrison hit Amboy with a six-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Clippers lost 10-0 to the Mustangs. The defeat continues a trend for the Clippers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Amboy's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-8-1. As for Morrison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Amboy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Lena-Winslow on the 19th. As for Morrison, they will take on Eastland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
