Soccer Recap: Bruton Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bruton can now relate to. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Nandua Warriors who were credited with the victory on Thursday. The Nandua Warriors got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Bruton Panthers' five. Bruton were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Nandua earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Bruton's goal came courtesy of Tim Walson, who's now up to 12 this season.

Bruton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Nandua, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Bruton nor Nandua have any future games scheduled.
