Baseball Recap: Middle College Comes Up Short

Middle College lost against Fayette Ware back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Middle College Bulldogs lost 14-5 to the Fayette Ware Wildcats. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Stevens was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Shawn Herring, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Middle College's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fayette Ware, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Middle College will host Kirby at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fayette Ware, they will take on Bradford at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
