After a string of four wins, Southlake Carroll's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bell Blue Raiders. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2020.

Southlake Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Bell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Southlake Carroll will finish 2024 at home by hosting Crowley at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Bell, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Byron Nelson at 11:45 a.m. on December 31st.
