With a playoff win on the line, Greencastle rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the South Putnam Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The Tiger Cubs are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Makenzie Creviston paced Greencastle's offense, picking up 11 kills. Creviston got some help from Allie Landry and her 33 assists. Keely Amis controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Despite the loss, South Putnam still got an impressive performance from Lilah Holderfield, who had 12 digs. Holderfield has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last 11 times she's played.

Greencastle's victory bumped their record up to 28-4. As for South Putnam, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.

Greencastle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against South Vermillion on the 18th. South Putnam does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
