Asheville Christian Academy extended their home winning streak to 11 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Rachel Bass. Everything went the Lions' way against the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Bass, who had 13 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Asheville Christian Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Spartanburg Christian Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-13.

Asheville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Asheville Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Polk County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oakbrook Prep at 5:00 p.m. on September 15.
