Softball Preview: Chapel Hill Panthers vs. Central Lions
The Chapel Hill Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Central Lions at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Chapel Hill will be strutting in after a victory while Central will be coming in after a defeat.
Chapel Hill is headed into the contest with an undefeated record on the line, something Decatur almost spoiled on Tuesday. Chapel Hill sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 win over Decatur.
Grace Glowacki made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Glowacki was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Central was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 9-2 to East Coweta. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
