Basketball Recap: North Marion Huskies vs. Logan Wildcats
The North Marion Huskies won the last time they faced the Logan Wildcats, and things went their way on Saturday too. North Marion came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 60-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Marion.
Emma Freels was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with three steals. Meya Kotsko was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds.
North Marion is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Logan, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
North Marion will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on February 5th. Robert C. Byrd will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Logan will take on the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
