Softball Recap: Ray Comes Up Short

Ray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Alice Coyotes, falling 14-3. The Texans were not able to make up for their loss to the Coyotes from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Ray saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kailey Benavides, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Ray's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Alice, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Coincidentally, Ray and Alice will both be playing Flour Bluff the next time they take the field. Ray will head out to face Flour Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Alice will host them at 12:00 p.m. on March 11th.
