Football Recap: Kennedy Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Kennedy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a hard 28-12 fall against the Cattaraugus-Little Valley Timberwolves. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2019.

Dylan Swanson was a one-man wrecking crew For Cattaraugus-Little Valley. as he rushed for 151 yards while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Those 151 rushing yards gave Swanson a new career-high.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cattaraugus-Little Valley, they will host Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Timberwolves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
