Softball Recap: Sloan-Hendrix Comes Up Short

Sloan-Hendrix fell victim to Izard County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 15-0 to the Cougars. The defeat continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost six in a row.

Sloan-Hendrix now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Izard County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sloan-Hendrix will challenge Hoxie at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Izard County, they will face off against Marshall at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
