Softball Game Preview: Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights vs. Tully Black Knights

The Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights will challenge the Tully Black Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses dating back to last season for Bishop Ludden and three for Tully.

Bishop Ludden came up short against Pulaski on Saturday, falling 13-7.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Tully was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of McGraw by a score of 3-1. The game marked the Black Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bishop Ludden's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Tully, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Bishop Ludden might still be hurting after the 18-0 defeat they got from Tully when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Gaelic Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
