Baseball Recap: Thrasher Comes Up Short

Thrasher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Biggersville Lions, falling 11-1. If the Rebels were looking for revenge after losing 13-3 to the Lions when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Caden Boren made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Braxton Miller, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one double.

Thrasher now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Biggersville, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-12.

While Thrasher had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
