Western Hills posted their closest win since April 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Franklin County Flyers 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Western Hills took Franklin County into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 18-25, 23-25, 17-15.

Max Gleason paced Western Hills' offense, picking up 13 kills. Gleason got some help from Shiv Patel and his 34 assists. Carson Wallace and Ben Bayes kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
