Volleyball Recap: Northridge Comes Up Short

Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Ridgeline Riverhawks.

Boston Ferrin paced Northridge's offense, picking up seven kills. Ferrin got some help from Carson Shaffer and his 14 assists. Finally, Ferrin was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Ridgeline, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Northridge will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Box Elder at 6:30 p.m. As for Ridgeline, they will square off against Sky View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
