Soccer Game Preview: Annapolis vs. Northeast + How To Watch

The Annapolis Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Northeast Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northeast took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Annapolis, who comes in off a win.

Annapolis' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They skirted past Southern 1-0. Annapolis haven't had any issues with Southern recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Northeast was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of Crofton by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Northeast can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 78th, while Crofton are ranked sixth).

Annapolis' win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Northeast, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5-1 record this season.

Annapolis was able to grind out a solid victory over Northeast when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
