Recap: Westview Chargers vs. South Fulton Red Devils
The Westview Chargers waltzed into their contest Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against South Fulton by a score of 51-42. Given Westview's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while South Fulton is ranked 146th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kylee Alexander was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points. The matchup was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mccall Sims, who scored 13 points.
Westview pushed their record up to 6-1 with that win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for South Fulton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Westview will take on Keenan in a holiday battle at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday at. As for South Fulton, they will head out on the road to face off against Peabody at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
