Football Recap: Fayetteville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Fayetteville Tigers didn't have quite enough to beat the Friendship Christian Commanders on Friday and fell 50-48.

Friendship Christian found their leader in freshman Ryder Wolcott, who rushed for 210 yards and four TDs while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. Blake Waldorf was another key player, rushing for 35 yards and one score.

Fayetteville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Friendship Christian, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fayetteville will welcome Gordonsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Friendship Christian, they will be playing at home against Mount Juliet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
