Basketball Recap: Gadsden County Comes Up Short

Gadsden County played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Madison County Cowboys and fell 68-33. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-18.

Gadsden County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khyla Robinson, who posted 14 points and four steals. Robinson has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamaria Crawford, who had six points.

Gadsden County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Madison County, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Chiles the next time they take the court. Madison County will head out to face Chiles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Gadsden County will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
