Recap: Bethlehem Catholic Hawks vs. Selinsgrove Seals
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks can now relate to. They received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 28-13 to Selinsgrove. Bethlehem Catholic was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Selinsgrove apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2017.
Tucker Teats was his usual excellent self, rushing for 223 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Teats really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
Bethlehem Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Selinsgrove, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0-1.
Bethlehem Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Selinsgrove will look to defend their home field on Friday against Juniata at 7:00 p.m. Juniata will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Selinsgrove is ranked 23rd).
