Basketball Game Preview: Mingus Marauders vs. Lee Williams Volunteers

The Mingus Marauders will challenge the Lee Williams Volunteers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Mingus took their contest with ease, bagging a 72-33 win over Metro Tech. The game marked the Marauders' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Lee Williams earned a 43-31 win over Agua Fria on Friday.

The victory made it two in a row for Mingus and bumps their season record up to 9-15. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points over those games. As for Lee Williams, their record now sits at 8-14.

Mingus beat Lee Williams 60-53 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mingus since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
