Anderson-Shiro came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Crockett Bulldogs as they made off with a 20-1 victory. Considering the Fighting Owls have won five contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Anderson-Shiro's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Crockett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Anderson-Shiro will square off against New Waverly at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Fighting Owls' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Crockett, they will face off against Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
