Mt. Enterprise had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the New Summerfield Hornets 12-1. Considering the Wildcats have won seven matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Chasity Garcia made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

In other batting news, Mt. Enterprise got a massive performance out of Jayden Jackson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Jackson has posted since back in April of 2024. JaRiyah Burks also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Mt. Enterprise was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .344 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Mt. Enterprise's record now sits at 11-6. As for New Summerfield, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

As of now, neither Mt. Enterprise nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
