Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Ramsey

Ramsey had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the River Dell Golden Hawks get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly ten runs.

Ramsey got a great performance from Joe Scarnechia as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Scarnechia has posted since back in May of 2025.

At the plate, Hudson Ferrando was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Patrick Connell, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Ramsey was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .370 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Ramsey's record now sits at 11-6. As for River Dell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.

Ramsey will have a chance to go back-to-back against River Dell: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
