Soccer Recap: Ida Baker Comes Up Short

Ida Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverdale Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Riverdale this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in November of 2025.

Ida Baker's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Riverdale, they moved to 5-8-1 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Coming up, Ida Baker will head out to take on Estero at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverdale, they will take on Cape Coral in a tournament on Thursday.
