Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Beech Grove

Beech Grove lost to Indianapolis Shortridge back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Hornets had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 2-1. Beech Grove's winning goal came courtesy of Aileen Mancera-Ortega.

The win (which was Beech Grove's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matchups. As for Indianapolis Shortridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
