Basketball Recap: Dalton Academy Comes Up Short

Dalton Academy lost against Christian Heritage back in January of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dalton Academy Pumas had to suffer through a 87-19 loss at the hands of the Christian Heritage Lions. The match marked the Pumas' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Dalton Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-16. As for Christian Heritage, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.

Dalton Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fannin County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Heritage, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Armuchee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Christian Heritage knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 games -- so hopefully Armuchee likes a good challenge.
