Baseball Recap: West Bridgewater Comes Up Short

West Bridgewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 7-2 to the Apponequet Regional Lakers. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 12-1 to the Lakers when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Bridgewater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Apponequet Regional, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West Bridgewater is set to take on their familiar foe Case at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Apponequet Regional will challenge rival Dighton-Rehoboth Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
