High school girls basketball: Hannah Rice of North Carolina tops national rebounding leaderboard

Mount Calvary Christian Academy junior is pulling down 21.6 rebounds per game for 16-6 squad.

According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, Hannah Rice of Mount Calvary Christian Academy (Hookerton, N.C.) is high school girls basketball's national leader in rebounds. 

The junior is averaging 21.6 rebounds per game for the 16-6 Warriors. Rice has a high of 32 rebounds in a single game this season and has pulled down at least 20 boards 15 times. She has grabbed at least seven offensive rebounds in 13 contests.

Shelby Carr of Liberty Christian Academy (Pataskala, Ohio) checks in at No. 2 at 20.4 rebounds per game. The senior is riding a streak of nine straight games with at least 19 rebounds.

The top freshman on the list is Harper Dunn of Corona/Vaughn (Corona, N.M.). Dunn is No. 6 in the nation with 18.3 rebounds per game for the 10-3 Cardinals. She has back-to-back games with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds.
