Basketball Game Preview: Nashua South Purple Panthers vs. Dover Green Wave

The Nashua South Purple Panthers will square off against the Dover Green Wave at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Nashua South knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully Dover likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Nashua South was able to grind out a solid victory over Bishop Guertin, taking the game 71-60. The win continues a trend for the Purple Panthers in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Dover entered their tilt with Goffstown on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 66-61 W against the Grizzlies.

Dover's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Nashua South, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

Nashua South came up short against Dover when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 67-61. Can Nashua South avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
