Volleyball Recap: Glenwood Takes a Loss

Glenwood lost against Columbus back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gators fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 2-1. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The 2-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Glenwood lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Glenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Columbus, they pushed their record up to 24-18 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Glenwood has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Calvary Christian on the 27th. As for Columbus, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lee-Scott Academy on the 27th.
