Baseball Recap: Madrid Comes Up Short

Madrid lost to Ogden on June 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Madrid's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Ogden, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-12 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Madrid is set to challenge their familiar foe Interstate 35 at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ogden will take on rival Des Moines Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
