Softball Recap: Olympia Takes a Loss

Olympia blew Eureka out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Eureka got their revenge. The Spartans fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 3-1. The Spartans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Eureka, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Olympia will take on Pontiac at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Indians will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eureka, they have already played their next contest, a 10-5 win against Putnam County on the 19th.
