Softball Game Preview: Bedford Kicking Mules vs. Flat Rock Rams

The Bedford Kicking Mules will challenge the Flat Rock Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bedford's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Flat Rock's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Bedford couldn't beat Northview on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Kicking Mules fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 9-8.

Meanwhile, Flat Rock won against Woodhaven on Saturday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Rams never let Grosse Ile get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Bedford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Flat Rock, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Bedford beat Flat Rock 11-7 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Will the Kicking Mules repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
