Basketball Recap: J.Z. George Comes Up Short

J.Z. George came up into this matchup off a tough 37-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Riverside Bulldogs by a score of 32-30 on Saturday. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

J.Z. George's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Riverside, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

J.Z. George wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 49-37 defeat against Sebastopol on the 30th. As for Riverside, they will venture away from home to face off against Leflore County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
