The Guilford Grizzlies will face off against the North Haven Nighthawks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Guilford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Guilford came up short against Sheehan and fell 9-6.

Ella Munson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Katie Mull was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for North Haven's offense. They lost 10-0 to Mercy on Thursday. The Nighthawks just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

North Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Guilford, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Guilford's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's contest. The Grizzlies have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for North Haven, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Guilford continue to outrun the ball?

Guilford beat North Haven 3-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Grizzlies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Nighthawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
