Baseball Game Preview: Richland Royals vs. Grapevine Mustangs

For the second straight game, Richland will face off against Grapevine. The Royals will square off against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Richland came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Grapevine, falling 16-1. The Royals have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Grapevine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Richland, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13-1.
