Basketball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 66-29 loss at the hands of the Alvirne Broncos. The Crimson Tide were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Alvirne, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6.

Concord has already played their next game (against Winnacunnet), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Alvirne will welcome Concord Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Alvirne surely won't give up without a fight.
