The Waccamaw Warriors will head out to square off against the Marlboro County Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waccamaw is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Waccamaw came into this matchup off a tough 16-run defeat on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Dillon by a score of 10-8 on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Campbell Williams was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with four RBI. Addison Stewart was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Marlboro County fell 6-1 to Georgetown.

Marlboro County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Ivey, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Marlboro County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. Waccamaw's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Waccamaw suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Marlboro County in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. Can Waccamaw avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
